Women’s Volleyball Schedule for Next Year Released

My birthday is one day away, and just like last year, that means it is time for more teams to release their schedules. Today, women’s volleyball released theirs, joining field hockey and women’s soccer in having done so. Below is their home schedule. Click here for the full schedule or here for the release. Also, I have been able to find a few more games by looking at other schools’ schedules. More on that in my next post. But for now, find the home schedule:

UConn Toyota Classic:
Friday, September 2: vs. Holy Cross, 7:30 PM
Saturday, September 3: vs. Howard, 12:30 PM, vs. Binghamton, 7:30 PM
Tuesday, September 6: vs. Sacred Heart, 7:00 PM
Saturday, October 1: vs. Marquette, 2:00 PM
Sunday, October 2: vs. Syracuse, 2:00 PM
Tuesday, October 4: vs. Hartford, 7:00 PM
Tuesday, October 11: vs. Fordham, 7:00 PM
Saturday, October 15: vs. St. John’s, 7:00 PM
Saturday, October 29: vs. Notre Dame, 2:00 PM
Sunday, October 30: vs. DePaul, 2:00 PM
Friday, November 4: vs. West Virginia, 7:00 PM
Sunday, November 6: vs. Pittsburgh, 2:00 PM

Some notes:

  • Marquette and St. John’s both conflict with football games, however neither football game has an announced time yet. So, those could be two-game days potentially.
  • I’m looking forward to the UConn Classic over Labor Day Weekend. Multi-team tournaments are always fun.
  • We’ll know more about conflicts with other sports when their schedules are announced.
  • Neither women’s basketball exhibition game (against Assumption on Nov. 3 and Pace on Nov. 9) are the same day as volleyball, so either of those could be at Gampel.
