February 16, 2011 (Game 52): Men’s Basketball vs. Georgetown

What: Men’s Basketball vs. Georgetown

When: Wednesday, February 16, 2011, 7:00 PM

Where: XL Center

Result: Win 78-70

This was a pretty back-and-forth game. Georgetown got off to an early lead really frustrating fans, but UConn came back. The key turning point was Kemba Walker shooting it off the backboard then grabbing the rebound and laying it in. Amazing play.

That being said, nothing too exciting happened this game. The action was somewhat back-and-forth but really no good plays other than the Kemba one. And nothing interesting happened in the crowd other than the obvious question of What’s a Hoya? But no really amusing stuff. In any case, we’re back for Women’s Basketball and Men’s Ice Hockey tomorrow, and then Women’s Ice Hockey on Sunday.
